Pilger, one of the world's pre-eminent investigative journalists, has been a foreign correspondent and war reporter throughout his career, and currently writes for the New Statesman, The Guardian and the Los Angeles Times, among others. He has twice won British journalism's highest award.
On June 7 in New York City, Pilger is launching a national speaking tour. He'll be discussing his new book with Amy Goodman that night at 7:00 at Tishman Auditorium of the New School in Manhattan.
