I heard on Sky Sports News tonight that Ryan Giggs is retiring from International play. He will play one more game and then it's quits. He wants to concentrate on his club play. Good for him. I have always liked Giggs, even with his current club.

Yeah, I saw his press-conference this morning, he was genuinely disappointed that he'd not been able to play in a major competition (World Cup or European) you could see how that would be a hassle, but when you think of George Best being in the same boat it puts it in perspective.
Good luck to him though, he's a brilliant player. |

Maybe he should have found a grandfather or 2nd cousin that was from a country that would have gotten him there! |

And one of the few really class players that I can think of. Another player that comes to mind, (I hate to mention him because he plays for the Arse) is Thierry Henry. |
