I was looking for info on couchtripper (we're in the top 1.4m of sites worldwide!) and then looked at this.. I thought it was quite interesting. The stats are based on visitors from the UK as opposed to sites based there.

some surprises for me were 2 torrent sites in the top 100, the Guardian featuring so highly while only one tabloid seeming to be there, with expedia near at the bottom and Friends Reunited not mentioned at all.

they say half of all net traffic is now torrents so that may account for it

pretty interesting list that....surprised skype didn't get a mention though Very Happy

The list depends on the Alexa toolbar inside IE. Skype users probably use the skype application, and rarely visit the web site
