Todays News Of The World says that from 2008 EastEnders will move to 8pm EVERY weekday night. They will also double the size of the set and bring in THREE production teams. The BBC are willing to add an extra 12 million to the already fixed budget of 58 million a year show.

I wonder how much of that 60 million will go towards script writing and better story lines?????

I've honestly found it much more upbeat lately. They have had quite a few bits of comedy. I really do enjoy the show much more now then I did a year ago. There are two plot lines I'd do away with but I know they will end.

I must admit I've laughed a few times in the last week - especially at that part where Gary met his mum. As I've said before though, if it does go to every night I'll stop doing it

It has been more upbeat lately.... but I think it'll be much better when those two plot lines are finished. Still better than any American Soap on the air, that's for sure.
