OK - Lithuania and The Faroes are not the greatest opposition, but they are exactly the sorts of team the boys in blue have had trouble beating in the past.

| haha yeah, only France, Ukraine and Italy to worry about now! We might do well against Georgia though... a plucky 4th place if we're lucky, but you never know - stranger things have happened |

Scotland 1 - France 0
It has been a memorable night for Scotland at Hampden Park with Scotland claiming a famous victory over World Cup runners-up France.
Walter Smith's side were under the cosh for long periods but kept battling and got their reward when Gary Caldwell netted the winner from a rare corner.
Scotland move three points clear of the French at the top of Group B as they maintain their 100% winning start to their qualifying campaign.
