Coronation Street to get new bad boy

Former 'Casualty' star Will Thorp is joining the cast of 'Coronation Street', with his character set to cause trouble. He will play a character called Chris, who is the ex-boyfriend of lapdancer Cheryl.

Trouble is set to brew when Chris, who has a child with Cheryl, meets her current boyfriend Lloyd. As well as 'Casualty', Thorp previously appeared in 'Holby City' and 'Doctor Who'.
