From what I read and see on the tube this health care thingy is kinda big right now. I guess a lot of people care about not dying and stuff. You can’t blame them. I mean if things aren’t total crap in your life why not try and find someone who can keep you hanging around for awhile longer? I guess the hang up is it costs so damn much to stay alive in this country right now. Like more than people can afford. Not all people. Some can buy and sell doctors. They can even get their own prescriptions for junk like Oxy whenever they want to. America’s a great place to live when you got bread but for the rest of us it can be a bitch sometimes when you break a bone or need to have a couple pounds of wax taken out of your ears (it hurts like hell).

The big pissing point is this deal Congress call’s the pubic option. Don’t know what our private parts have to do with anything but all I know is the dudes on cable news are going bat shit over it. Me? I’m not shy about showing skin. Maybe it goes back to when I went to church camp in the fifth grade. All the guys had a contest to show who had the most hair down there (I got smoked) and after a few days it seemed like no big deal. Just another thing to do before they turned off the power to our cabin at 10:00 pm each night. I’m just saying pubic hair just ain’t nothing to get riled up about if you ask me.

I guess those Republicans got a different take on it cuz they are about to strap TNT on their backs and blow themselves up if this passes. Something about “the government taking over 1/6 of the economy” whatever the hell that means? I think there’s like 3 or 4 really, really rich old white guys who own that 1/6 of the economy and they aren’t so happy about anyone moving across the street from them selling the same thing at a lower price. That would be the government. You see if someone else sells the same thing for less bread then most people other than the family and friends of the really, really rich old white guys are gonna buy the cheaper stuff from the guy across the street. Maybe even a couple of the really, really rich old white guy’s family and friends like a third cousin or neighbor who now hate him for his perfect lawn or something.

One thing I’m pretty sure of, most Republicans must already have health insurance cuz they sure don’t seem interested in other people getting it. I know they use that “socialism” word a lot when they go off about it on tv with spit flying out of the sides of their mouth but can it be so bad? I mean a bunch of people die every year in the good ol USA cuz they don’t have it and if you are that someone who doesn’t is the “S” word really that scary? I would rather have someone yell that word and even the “C” word (communism I think) a thousand times and live than keep the system we have now and die. What would you rather do? Have a doctor save you or your kids life or have someone croak cuz they don’t have enough bread for an operation? I wonder if the people in most every other country in the world would threaten to overthrow their president cuz he made sure everybody could see a doctor and not lose everything they owned if they got sick? Just a question as I don’t know for sure.

The thing that still messes with my head is that a ton of those tea bagging people I always see on that one cable tv network sure don’t look like they have a lot of money so what the hell are they thinking? It’s like someone, somewhere has made them believe that the “S” word is worse than dying. Now that’s an awesome sales job. I don’t know how they did it but it’s a done deal so if this health care plan does go down in flames at least in 10 years or so we won’t have to see a lot of these dimwits on the tube anymore. Nope and I think that’s about when they’ll figure out that most of their relatives who were crashing in the double wide are gone for good. At first they may be kinda happy but later on like Christmas and birthdays it will hit home when there’s no presents to open. You think Obama has pissed them off now? Just wait until they figure out what Beck and his posse have done to them. It won’t be pretty and they won’t be packing Lipton special blend. Later

Interesting reading jsaw, and I agree completely. I wasn't too sure what you meant with the 'pubic' bit though...

I think the tea-baggers are as tricked by the word socialism because they've never met a person who has lived under such a system. Sometimes 'Fox' features those immigrants from Cuba and say they're escaping 'the horrors of socialism' when, in fact, 99% of them are healthier and better educated than any other country in the Caribbean and Central America. Do Fox News want to open the doors for all those others from other countries who are genuinely suffering every day? Do they hell - they just want anything to attack socialism with because they are shit-scared of it. When the only real difference to their lives would be minimal - they might be able to afoord only one or two large houses and a beach house, rather than 3 or 4 that they then rent out to take advantage of the less well-off.

The problem with the American economy is that it's basically a pyramid scheme on a massive scale.
