GG is an arse to ridicule him as he does. Galloway simply hasn't got the ability to (and I hate using this phrase) think outside the box of social-conditioning that Icke does, but which, ironically, is also the source of a lot of his strength and knowledge.
The reason I like and admire Icke is because he's continued his stance, changing things as he's developed. He no longer talks about shape-shifting lizards in the same way and to be honest, to continue to drag it up is like talking about Galloway in Iraq or on Big Brother. |

Fair enough. And also I'm pretty much derailing this David Davis thread, too - haha, oops.
One last thing I have to say, though, is "He no longer talks about shape-shifting lizards in the same way" is not much of a defense, considering it's the fact he talks about them at all that makes him a figure of ridicule. It's not the same as Celebrity Big Brother because George did that once, and has repeatedly admitted he made himself look deliberately foolish for a good cause.
Anyway, I'll shut up now, cos you're the boss |

ok, but the lizard thing is a small and old part of his work. He's written many books since then and the vast majority of it is aimed at helping people see that the society they live in is not as it seems, that we are being manipulated into wars and distractions in order that the elites can continue to maintain their power. I'm sure you'd agree that that's not insane or illogical, but those who would lose out if his ideas became popular would like him to be seen in that light.
I'd credit him with helping me to look at things differently, even if I don't agree with all of his conclusions - much in the same way that I see Galloway.. haha |
