A few podcasts I'm listening to regularly -
99% Invisible
Ostensibly about architecture, it takes in elements of urban planning and things like that. It's just interesting stuff and I find it really worth listening to.
An Irishman Abroad
Interviews with Irish people who don't, or didn't for a long time, live in Ireland. The presenter, Jarlath O'Regan, is pretty good and the talks are interesting even for non-Irish people. There is quite a catalogue building up so you can pick and choose who you are interested in. It starts with comedians as that is how the presenter makes his living.
The Infinite Monkey Cage
Brian Cox and Robin Ince, science with an element of entertainment, I guess you'd call it. One of my favourites. Their panel usually consists of one comedian and two scientists.
The Guardian Football Weekly
The best football podcast by a long way. James Richardson from Football Italia back in the day on Channel 4 presents. |
