I think this is just horrible! If you can't stand the pressure then get out. I understand her husband didn't want the child to be adopted, but she could have left the marriage instead of murdering her child --- it doesn't sound like she was that devoted to her husband anyway.

That bloody selfish bastard... here's hoping she finds out that prison life for a child-killer isn't exactly a breeze either.

Does cerebral palsy get worse throughout the person's life? She doesn't seem that badly affected by it compared to many people who can't hold their head up etc.

I can't read the article as it is saying the page requested is no longer available. However, from just reading the title my stomach is sour and I am sick.

Thanks face. Couldn't figure out what was wrong with the link myself.

After reading the story I am brought to tears. It is so heartbreaking. I wish the father would have just taken the child and left. I also wish the mother would have succeeded in her suicide attempt. There are so many other option she could have taken besides murder.

Generally, it doesn't get worse. It's often due to a brain injury at birth, the brain being without oxygen and the bits that are destroyed affect mobility and movement. It doesn't sound as if this girl had a severe case compared to many that I've seen.

BTW -- don't know what the problem with the link was as it looked fine when I viewed it. Thanks for fixing this face Smile

It sounds like a mild case of CP to me. I have seen children alot worse than needing calipers and having hearing problems. Without therapy the conditions can get worse but the mental ability of the children isn't usually affected. My best friend from high school has a son with mild CP and it took 3 years to figure it out.

She is obviously a selfish jerk
