The theme of tonight's show was 'Prince' - some great tunes were played but I'm sure I'm not the only one to wonder why anyone would call their child Prince Zain of Zanzibar as Galloway has done unless he actually was that. I don't get it. But the rest of the show was quite good, with a general discussion of slavery and reparations being the main theme.

The musical focus of tonight's show was the influence of black music on everything that came after it. Some of the early calls were a bit dull for a Saturday night - I was hoping for more dissent from the ranks of the rabid!

I wasn't able to listen to tonight's show yet, but the general theme was of slavery and Galloway's visit to Barbados... it's alright for some eh?

Saturday's programme had a great variety of calls as is the norm for a Saturday night, with the musical theme being bands which played at the Montery Festival of 1967. A special feature was the in-studio guest 'Roxanna', an Iranian woman who has written a book called 'Sex, Iran and Rock and Roll' - and it seems I wasn't the only one to be a bit taken by her voice... ooooh yeah!

Tonight's show had only one subject really - that of taxation. It was bound to be a hot-topic but even I was surprised at some of the callers. I left the music in tonight's show - with it being some of the best of Elvis...

BBC Radio 4's show 'Hecklers' is an interesting idea. One speaker is allowed to put across his theory and 4 others are allowed to heckle them as they go...some good lines and worth the listen (45 minutes)

Almost all of this show was given over to discussion of Elvis. It did make for an interesting show, which surprised me as I was never a big fan.

This evening's show was quite interesting with the two main topics being the 30th anniversary of Elvis' death and the 62nd anniversary of the nuclear-bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

A pretty good show this morning with a lot of focus on the story in today's Express about Michael Martin employing a libel lawyer at the public's expense... Thanks again to Mandy at Spidered News for the original file that I edited down...

The first part of today's show was given over to discussion of what you would do if you found a burglar in your house. The rest of the show was mainly talk about the Police complaint about the 'Undercover Mosque' documentary. Thanks to Mandy at Spidered News for the original file that I edited down...

Most of today's show was based on the 'scandal' surrounding Pete Doherty and his drug problems. Should he be locked up? Personally I reckon he should be left in a field somewhere for a month or two with nothing but some matches and a knife - if he makes it out alive, fair enough!

Most of today's show (standing in fro Gaunt) was about 'Devil Dogs' after the case at the weekend when a young girl was mauled by one. There was a great call from Karl who phoned in to name ten number#1 hits that were written by communists... who'd have thought it eh? I missed the first 40 minutes of the show, but hopefully they'll turn up before long.

A fair old hotch-potch of subjects were covered in tonight's show. There were a good few calls which offered theories on how the outcome of WWII and the ensuing Cold War, via Afghanistan, made for some very good listening. The show started late tonight because of an important Rounders match.

With Galloway back at 'talkSPORT towers' the first hour was a bit slow, and I wasn't too impressed by the 'Crooners' theme to the music, but there was a good bit of talk about the Jean Charles de Menezes case, which came as a result of the news this week that the Met Police have been shown to have misled the public.
