Tonight's show had the apparent theme of being about Global Warming, what with Galloway having noticed how brown he'd got today at a horse event near Cheltenham in the company of such royal luminaries as Zara Phillips. If it wasn't that I recognised his voice I'd have sworn I was listening to some ex-socialist social climber who had suddenly realised what he was missing out on. Couple that with the fact that he tried to shout down a woman who later revealed that she was 76, causing him to crumble like an eejit, while she maintained her point of interest.

This evening's show was mainly about the situation with young children drinking alcohol. No mention was made of Co-Op shops in Scotland announcing today that they wouldn't sell alcohol to anyone who looks under 25 without ID, which I was a bit disappointed about. Maybe I should spend the evening waiting on the phone to make a point like that in future!

Most of  tonight's show was given over to discussion of immigrants. The picture above is from an american demonstration but I'm sure it won't be long before similar demos are held here - and good luck to them

Quite a good return for Galloway to his normal slot after his visit to Kazakhstan if what I've heard so far is anything to go by... I missed the first half-hour though, so apologies for that. But this is a direct download so it should be a lot quicker that usual - right click and save-as.

Tonight's show started with a good bit of discussion about the class system, especially regarding  the "big news" that Prince William has split with some girl he was shagging. I'm glad it's back to the weekend shows alone - it's a lot of work when it's on every day.

Most of today's show was given over to discussion of Des Browne and the decision to allow those sailors to be interviewed in public and paid for it. It turns out that one sailor burst into tears when he was called "Mr Bean" by his Iranian captors... There was a fair bit of discussion of the various bombing attacks around the world today and then more talk regarding bowel cancer.

The first two hours of today's show was given over mostly to the "social malaise which grips our country" and discussion of corporal punishment and overweight children. The third hour was given to talk about consumer affairs.

I missed the first hour of today's show, but the second was mostly about the situation with Iran wanting nuclear power and the third about embryo retainment...

Tonight's show was a good mix of the usual death threats and random discussion by Saturday night callers who may have had a few jars... and good on them! The daytime shows aren't a patch on these.

Today's four hour show was quite annoying in its content as there was so much filler content that it was almost unlistenable - the edited version is far more palatable though, and is just over two hours long. It had been billed as a "conspiracy" special, but there wasn't any great flow in my opinion. Note: I put the wrong date on the download file - it says it's from the 5th, instead of the 6th..

On the day of the return of the British spies/flunkies from the TERROR of being held captive by Iran and fed nice food there is a good bit of talk about why they were there in the first place and also about whether Iran or Britain "won" the diplomatic battle. I think you can guess my opinion...

04/04/07 3:10pm

Most of today's show was taken up with discussion of the fact that a company which provides the public-phones for patients in hospitals has raised its prices by 160%. The last hour was given over to talk about house-prices.

Galloway starts the show with some truly terrible impersonations of popular comedy catch-phrases - with the point being about young people being rude etc. The best part of the show comes in discussion about schools teaching about the Holocaust, causing George to "need a wash" after one caller...

A good bit of today's show was given over to discussion of Wayne Rooney's girlfriend's 21st birthday party and how much money was spent on it. There was also a good bit of discussion about today being the 25th anniversary of Argentina trying to regain their Malvinas, with Tam Dalyell phoning in in the 3rd hour. Thanks to spiderednews for providing the unedited file... it's now cut down to 1h47 minutes from 3hrs+
