Who's excited? Got your tree up yet?

I have a tree leaning against the wall which I'm putting up tonight. I've just been sucked in by Tesco's half price offers and bought some battery powered fairy lights which I've put round the window on the front door!

What are everyone's plans for Christmas this year?

I'll be going to my sister's for Christmas. I've never been one for putting up decorations here, but I do enjoy seeing them out and about. Inflatable singing santas ftw! haha

i've already got my tree up Smile i've kinda missed it, not for the tree so much, but i like the lights - not all mad flashy, its just a nice light in the corner of the room.

heres the picture i posted last year, but its the same tree, lights and decorations again this year

my mums coming here again, so i'll be cooking dinner, i'm thinking of getting a goose, although i've never cooked one before, i guess its just like a chicken or a duck but a bit bigger

My tree is up, outside is decorated, the house is decked. Will have to post pictures.

Love your tree Luke and it will be nice to have your mom there.

We'll just be here this Christmas but that's fine by me. This bad winter I would rather be cuddled up at home.

My parents stopped putting up a tree since they moved here because of the little ankle biters. They are not respectful of a tree.lol! We'll put up decorations around the house though, and my hubby is flying in for the holidays, so I'll be excited to see him. Enjoy your holidays everyone!

My tree is up and mostly decorated (it has been done in small shifts this year...not sure what happened there), wreaths on the door and the rest of the decorations up this weekend. Marcella's two oldest are the Nutcracker this weekend, so I am going to tonights performance then babysitting the younger ones for the others. Christmas day will be at their house, Santa has to know where to go...and then Boxing Day and New Years Eve at my house. New Years Eve we play "David May I" (my oldest nephew gets to be the boss on that one..) in the back yard until all hours and watch the ball drop...

We don't decorate much but we do have the lights up outside and a couple of things inside.

Since my husband and I are both off for Christmas we will go to my parents house around noon to open gifts and visit, then my in-laws will come over later in the afternoon and we'll all sit down to dinner. Nothing fancy, just some nice downtime. Smile

I was thinking the same thing, Luke. I looked at that pic and my tree and the only thing in common is they are both green! Laughing

I use paper chains made out of old Christmas cards that I have received and one of whatever I have sent out that year. some of the chains are almost as old as I am...and that is saying something!
