They've just started playing the Catherine Tate show here in Canada and I've noticed so far that there have been at least three former cast members on the show....

We couldn't have a thread like this without mentioning The Bill. So many actors from Eastenders have ended up on there that it's almost a necessity!

I am flipping through the channels right now, and we have this channel called the "Charlie" channel. It is showing "The Bill" right now. I see Jack Branning on it. Is there any Bill episode that someone from Eastenders hasn't been on???? Laughing

He did look quite young on there. It seems like every time I catch the Bill on, there is someone from another show I recognize. Sometimes I recognize someone and can't put my finger on where i've seen them before. :-)

Oh, I also meant to say that recently I've seen a couple of ex-soap stars on "Holby City". In one episode there was both EE's Barry Evans and Corrie's Guy-That-I-Can't-Remember-But-He-Killed-Emily's-Husband AND Also-Had-A-Fling-With-Eileen (anyone remember that character's name?).

Ed (Chris Walker) was Eileen's squeeze and Emily's husband's murderer. :-)

Thanks, pirty! So yes, both of those former soap actors played patients in a fairly recent episode of Holby.

I have 2 more to add: EE's "Little Mo" played a policewoman on last year's "Holby Blue" and EE's Ruth Fowler (who was married to Mark Fowler & ran off w/Mark's Irish cousin, Connor) is now playing a policewoman on Corrie. Great to see her again!
