they really are - you just burn the files onto a disc like you would with any file and then put it in the player and away you go...

the only files my player doesn't like are wmv, but everything else like avis, mpgs, mp3 etc play perfectly and you can be watching the show on the big tv within minutes of downloading.

Faceless - nice to chat with you earlier. I followed the directions and set up the DVD player. Burned my folder with Still Game and was able to play it on my televsion. So full of my own importtance now I feel like Bill Gates/Steve Jobs !!!!!!!! Ha, ha,

Thanks so much to you and everyone for all your help in this - I really appreciate it. I'm going to try Eastenders next. Keep your fingers crossed.

Going to watch EE tonight (with a little glass of Merlot!) on the big telly. Woo, Hoo!
