I've been wondering, does anyone else miss the golden days of Eastenders, with Kat and Alfie (best on-screen match ever in my opinion) behind the bar, the anticipation of will-they-won't-they; then the return on Dirty Den and the fascinating events that lead to him being killed off for the second and last time?
I certainly do; the new characters and storylines are entertaining enough, but they just lack the spark and excitement there used to be in EE. It just makes me sad to see all the brilliant actors in EE vanish from our screens as years go by  |

The Martin Kemp era (alias Steve Owen). I miss that!
Hey, if anyone has any old S.O episodes - Saskia Duncan murder, the trial, nottingham scenes, forte posthouse scenes, etc...I'd really appriciate them.

| I really do miss Kat and Alfie. That was truly the best pairing ever. You're so right. However, I am liking Pauline getting taken on by her son lately. I've enjoyed that. I've also enjoyed some of the other changes they have come along with. Phil as a normal dad has been nice. I love Bradley. But some of the other characters are a bit dull. |

Those were some good episodes, weren't they. Lets hope that with the new producer taking over things and storylines will pick up. |

I find the arrival of Stacey's long-lost brother, Sean to be quite interesting (and yeah, the actor who plays the part is a tad on the cute side, which, of course, doesn't hurt  ).
Can't wait to see what's going to happen with Sean and the mysterious Army-Buddy Al (hope I got the name right, but y'all know who I mean)!  |

BBC Canada is only 2 years behind. I live in southern california, the episodes on our local public station are six years behind. They just celebrated Christmas 2001
