HUNK Rob Kazinsky admitted he was horrified when he learned that his character is to hold a baby hostage.

Sean Slater is hell bent on tracking down Deano Wicks, who has done a runner before his court appearance.
Deano has fled to his sister Carly’s place.

His pal Dawn Swann (Kara Tointon, 24) is the only person who knows where Carly lives – and she is forced to tell Sean the address when he threatens her new-born baby Summer.

Talking exclusively to the Daily Star actor Rob, 23, said: “When I read it in the script I was horrified.
“It’s the first time I’ve been disgusted by what Sean’s got up to.

“It’s not nice threatening anyone, let alone a little baby who doesn’t have a clue what’s going on. Sean has sunk to his lowest and uses Summer to get what he wants.

“He would never hurt the baby, he’s not that nasty.
“He just picks her up and won’t give her back to Dawn.

“It works a treat and she gives up Carly’s address.

“But even though no harm comes to Summer, it shows how off the edge he really is.”

The ex-squaddie finally confronts Dean (Matt Di Angelo, 20) to make sure he goes to court for trying to frame him for attempted murder.

And Rob added: “He gives him a very threatening message – that if he runs then life will be a lot harder for him.”

Man, can't they write him any redeeming qualities? Why does his character have to be a total twisted nutter. I can't stand the way he treats his mum, it's not Jeans fault she has mental problems.

Oh, I think there's a lot more to that. Jean has done something to him/told him something to make him go off to the army and that's why he's so anti-her. I'm sure it's one of those simmering plots that will out itself when you least expect it. My guess right now is that during one of her episodes she believed Sean was her husband and came onto him. That would explain why he is so vehement towards her. But I could think up about another 4 or 5 reasons. Let's just wait and see. Mmmmm.

After watching tonight episode he has shown even more how pathetic he is. Not only can he not handle visiting his mother (who is doing just fine right now) but he has take tranqs to knock himself out. Heaven forbid having a home cooked meal. What a loser. And a bad actor to boot.

I think it would be more than that. He walked out on his family when he was younger before the war and already had the problems with his mother. So I think more along the lines of a history of mental illness in the family.

Whatever it is, his story needs to develop more quickly because his brooding and shouting and his rage against Jean is dragging on way too long. He's really cute when you hit the mute button.

Laughing You're so right Misslisa. I find his character boring and dull and I think the actor must as well because in my opinion he has gotten worse as the show has gone on. There isn't much to the character at all accept yelling and pouting.
