40 Grand in debt?! I didn't see this coming. The other day when she was sneaking out to see Aunt Sal I thought maybe they were setting up for a possible cancer recurrance. Peggy being broke seems like a weird storyline made painful to watch with Roxy constantly screaming in every scene. I dunno, maybe I missed the lead up clues to this storyline.

It doesn't surprise me. She did just start spending a lot of money all of a sudden. With her trip, then vacation, the redoing the Vic up and down stairs, and finally the insane hand made dress and preparations for Phil's 100th wedding.

It will be a bit painful. I have honestly come to not like Roxy at all. She constantly is shouting and is like a spoiled brat. Even hiding the ring still that could help out.

I remember business falling off aftter the smoking ban. And I remember a number of times hearing her yell 'free drinks everybody.' And that's just since Janet was born. How old is Janet? I guess it's all been coming.

Janet is a little over a year now. That's right as well antonia, lots of free drinks and the whole slump thing would have added to it as well. Those are some really good points.

I thought Peggy got excited about how well the "takings" went up when Ronnie and Roxy were running the pub while they were away. Why not just let them continue doing their stupid things to keep the takings up and climb out of debt? I guess it all depends on what kind of profit gets her "excited". If it's only a couple of hundred quid, then that isn't going to solve anything. Maybe "Phiwl" can do some dodgy car deals and bring the back in the green! LOL!!

I thought the same thing, Pirty, about the takings going up when Ronnie and Roxy took over the pub. I suppose though, that it doesn't necessarily mean the takings were good before they started in the pub --- only that they were up.

What would the Queen Vic be without some sort of problem going on??? Laughing

Queen Vic is the center piece of all action. Peggy should have been a hundred grand in debt, the place still looks old fashioned...LOL!

What makeover? You mean she actually paid for the designer to redo what was already there and is still there?

I know cori. I always thought that redo was a bit insane. Nothing changed except the pool table is gone, there's some new couches and the seats were recovered. It wasn't that drastic of a change. Now the living room in the Vic had a big makeover and looks way different but the downstairs looks like bugger all.

I hope this storyline leads to an even better one because watching this is very dull the only interesting thing has been Sean smashing the place up for Peggy, and that was only slightly more interesting.

I haven't liked it myself. It's boring and all it's really done is giving Sean a few irritating one liners and Ronnie and Roxy and excuse to screech even more.

Same here.... not one of my favourite storylines. Maybe they're leading up to something bigger.....?????????
