MORE and more people eat their dinner in front of the TV these days - and now they can eat whatís on it. Food artist Prudence Emma Staite has unveiled a series of sculptures based around the nationís favourite ĎTV Dinnersí.
Prudence has used Britainís most popular foods to recreate famous scenes and characters from BBC programmes in a bid to mark the full launch of BBC iPlayer on Virgin Mediaís on-demand television service - the first time that viewers have been able to access the catch-up service on a TV platform.
The artwork includes the EastEndersí River Thames title scene made from bangers ní mash, and the Top Gear presenters created using beans on toast.
