I saw Raven ask for some slow cooker stuff..so here's one I haven't cooked this in ages ...so I might have too in next few days ..... And when I do I'll post a picture..... It is Delish though
Crockpot chilli
The Stuff
1 pound beef boneless round steak, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
2 small green chillis chopped
2 medium celery stalks, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
2 cans (14 1/2 ounces each) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
3 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 medium bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces (1 cup)
1 can (15 to 16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
Shredded Cheddar cheese, if desired
What to do
First of all brown meat for a couple of minutes ...then
1. Mix all ingredients except bell pepper, beans and cheese in 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker.
2. Cover and cook on low heat setting 6 to 7 hours or until beef and vegetables are tender.
3. Stir in bell pepper and beans. Uncover and cook on high heat setting about 15 minutes or until slightly thickened. Serve with cheese.and some nice Crusty bread
Delish and very Hot

Twirley, I could hug you right now. I always get such hell for leaving out the beans from my chili because I hate them. I can't say how good it feels to know I have a sister in this! |

I hate all beans. However, the chili I do know they would never make it with kidney beans either. In Mexico it's pinto beans, end of But I hate those as well. |

It's not a fear of beans I have. It's more the fact that they make me gag. That and white milk. |

I use chocolate in the milk. Makes it go down so smooth did try mashing up the beans, didn't work. So when I make the chili I just make a portion without beans for myself |
