where do you think this apathy comes from skylace ( and anyone else ) ? and do you think its apathy towards politics in general, or the current two factions of the business party system america currently operates under?
I can't say I know where it comes from. It could be because for so long we haven't had to worry much, the "if it ain't broke don't fix it attitude" it may be due to the lack of responsibility that has been growing or maybe they put something in our water (which might explain why the effects wore off when I left the country ) But it is apathy to politics in general.
More from "Saturday Night Live" featuring Will Ferrell & Tina Fey (n.b. for our non-U.S. Couchers, the "Silver Bullet" to which Ferrell's characterisation of GW Bush refers in the open is Coors Light Beer).

Sarah Palin: "Queen of the Alaskan Frontier"

Laughter (and casting my vote, of course - already voted via "absentee ballot") is the only way I've been able to keep my sanity recently.......
Was hearing about all this last night. I am sure we are going to get conflicting stories from both camps. Due to all of this I think we are going to see a split start to form in the Republican party.
When a party loses a lot of seats like the Republicans have they only hold on to the hardcore ones. A lot of times this can then make them move to the extreme as the guys that used to reign them in a bit so they won't lose their jobs are no longer there.
