I thought the same thing. Billy should have called 999 and then gone in there to see how Jase was. He had a nice piece of stick (with nails in it) that he could have used to at least threaten the thugs for a while till the police got there.

You're right Aja - a mate's a mate and you would do what you could - just wish Billy was bit cleverer (is that a word??).

Well, I think we can see Honey's exit storyline...... the fact that Billy's involved in this kind of thing...... she'll be off with the kids before you know it.

I saw both sides of it, I did feel bad for him, but I also knew he was a coward. Why on earth didn't he call 999 or even Phil? He's such a pussy. Like Honey pointed out to him she stayed and stood up to those guys while she was pregnant. As for Honey leaving, I think it will center around his lies. What I can't get my head around is why the actress said her leaving storyline wasn't as big as Wellard's. Geez.

But is anyone really surprized? We all knew Billy would react this way in this sort of situation. I agree you stand up for mates and such, but Billy never has. He is a coward and always has been. I was surprized that he actually went back in.

I agree that Billy should have called the police and then went in there with guns blazing, but then again, he has two kids to support, though most of the time he can't even manage that. He could have shouted that he called the police while going in there swinging. Still don't know why he couldn't enlist people from the square to come and help. Seems stupid to me. Another swiss cheese storyline. lol!

I'm not surprised that Billy wussed out, but I think he would have been better off with Honey if he hadn't lied to her. If he'd just said "I panicked and couldn't do anything"-- she might have thought him a coward but appreciated that he told her the truth. But then, they wouldn't have had an exit storyline Laughing

I just wonder how they're going to keep Billy on the square.........

I'm only guessing that Honey will go running to her daddy and Billy will become a weekend dad. We'll not get to see the visitations I'm sure. In any case, I'm glad Billy is staying and Honey is going, because I never liked her character.

True enough --- and yet, I was hoping they wouldn't fall back on that..... it's about the only thing he has going from him.

He is just so pathetic. The scenes today just made me want to hurl. He has done it to himself yet again. Why didn't he just tell Honey? I hate to say it, but he got what he deserved. He shouldn't have hiden things from Honey again, all the while telling her that there would be no more lying. Silly Billy...

I'm with you Spurs. This time he had total control over the situation. There are times I really have felt for Billy because no matter how hard he tries he seems to get the short end of the stick. But what happened with Honey was totally avoidable. He didn't even have to hide the money from her. He could have taken it out and shown her. I know he was trying to do right by Jay but he totally disregarded Honey.

That being said, I won't miss Honey really. She was a sweet character (no pun intended) but she wasn't that exciting and she didn't bring that much to the show. I also can't figure out why the actress felt she didn't get a good storyline as a send off. After all, it revolved around Jase's murder!

I also didn't like the fact that she was no longer mispronouncing words. They tried to "smarten" her up. I liked her better when she was getting her "epidoodle"...
