this is one of my fave fast meals ........

For 2 people ...

2 Gammon/country ham steaks
paprika
black pepper
garlic salt

4 large potatoes cut in to chips (ff)
pineapple chunks
french bread
butter
oil for frying chips...

Salad

method

sprinkle paprika garlic and black pepper over both sides of steak
fry or grill... I prefer fried

meanwhile heat oil for chips

if u don't have a fryer..... some oil in a sauce pan will do

while they are cooking make the salad

mean while cut the french loaf in half.... and then half again

butter and put the 2 smaller pieces on 2 plates

top with the gammon steak and the pineapple which has been cooked in the juices of gammon

add chips and salad... and tuck in .... YAY DELISH Smile

I wondered what all this slobber was Laughing

Looks yummy Aja! I'd never heard of Gammon before, but I might give this a try--- I think my husband would like it.
