....is a really twisted young man. I'm getting to the point where he's making me cringe when I watch him. The actor is doing a really good job of portraying someone who has got the truth all jumbled up inside his head.
I'm really looking forward to how this all plays out...even though I'm expecting many more cringeworthy moments.
i think jack is a very good young actor , i hope if he is 'out' of corrie that he will get more work , looks like they are giving him nowhere else to go but down then out , but this is soapville so he could become a priest , or even a nun
I really enjoy this mad David stuff, it's great to see him getting crazier as the days go by. I don't even want to know any more spoilers about the story as I'm just enjoying watching it.
I also love some of the lines they give him. Most brilliant mouthy comebacks to Gail. Some of the things he says are funny and creepy at the same time. I'm really enjoying this storyline. I hope they keep David. They can "nice him up" later after we have had fun with his "evil" side...

Yeah, let's see all this crazy side of him spin out and then he can have months of therapy and come out being okay again...only to leave us all wondering whether the craziness is still in there.

Gail Platt does a fantastic furious face - like a wounded Ewok - but then she's had plenty of practice at it with a son like David.
In no particular order, he's seen off her chances with Phil the foot fondler by slamming his hand in the car boot, aided and abetted a marijuana grower, refused to go to school because of imaginary bullies, told the police his mum had beaten him up, gave a false statement claiming to be a witness to Charlie Stubbs' murder, blackmailed Tracy Barlow in the hope that she'd sleep with him, spent a small fortune on greeting cards which he pretended were from Richard Hillman, lied that he slept with Mel Morton, ruined his family's Christmas dinner by reading excerpts from Ivy Tilsley's diary, set fire to his exam paper, shot his mum's groceries and shaved a doll's head.
Let's see, have I forgotten anything? Oh yes - and nearly killed Bethany with ecstasy tablets. So tonight when Gail finally packs his bag and slings him out you can only wonder what on earth's taken her so long.

Jaysus! Gail's head is going to explode and leave a gooey mess on our television screens....LOL!! That young man who plays David really knows how to look evil. He must have been practicing in the mirror a lot...LOL!!
I decided to try Corrie a couple of days ago and I like it alot. David is rotten but enjoyable to watch just to see what he is going to do next. I think his character is what made it easier to get into the show.
Here's another spoiler about what David gets up to...

Sarah in a rage over Todd's return
Evil teen David Platt thinks he's come up with the perfect way of scuppering sister Sarah's wedding in Coronation Street. But will inviting her ex, Todd, to the shindig really put a dampener on things? It seems not - although initially it looks as if the youngster has got his own way.
Todd is set to reappear on Monday, October 15, thinking his brother Jason wants him at his side as he ties the knot. Although the rest of the Grimshaw clan are pleased to see him, Todd's arrival sends Sarah into a fury.
"She's stressed out about the wedding and I'm a problem she doesn't want to deal with, she doesn't even want to look at him," says Bruno Langley, who plays Todd. "I think when she sees Todd, she thinks she's on the way to another disaster and reckons if she packs him back to off London, life would be a lot easier, with one less problem on her plate."
However, he tries his best to remedy the situation by discussing the matter with her. But can they forgive and forget after all that's happened? Remember, Todd broke Sarah's heart when he announced he was gay, after making a move on her other brother, Nick, and it won't be easy for her to put those bad memories behind her.
