Here's a nice dinner salad that's lovely on a hot hot day. Very easy to make and you can vary the ingredients however you like.... a very "forgiving" recipe.... you really can't make it the wrong way!
375 - 400 g dry pasta --- cooked and drained
400g (approx). flake style imitation crab meat (you can use the real stuff too!)
1 c chopped vegetables (whatever combo you like, I use broccoli)
1/2 c light ranch dressing
1/2 c light mayonnaise
1 tsp dill
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse well in cold water. Place in a large bowel and set aside. To the pasta, add the chopped vegetables and the flaked crab meat.... mix well.
In a smaller bowel, mix together the ranch dressing, mayo and dill. Mix into the pasta combo. Chill for at least one hour then enjoy!
1 cup =250 cal (approx.) and 33 carbs |
