Some of you might have heard of (or even played) Battlefield 2142. It's an online multiplayer game from EA, with about 400,000 players.
I happen to be ranked number three in the world on the Commander leaderboard (not shown here).
...Anyway, there are six different leaderboards. Another of them is for efficiency. Of course, people who turn up with a hack and start killing everyone with ease will get efficiency scores that would normally be impossible (an efficiency score is based on points-per-minute).
The thing is, normally you have to guess at who the hackers are by looking at their stats. In the case of the top two here though, I have a sneaky suspicion they are expecting to be caught...
No doubt they sell hacks, and they hope that in the few hours before EA kill their account, enough people will message them asking for a link to their pay-to-hack site that it will have made them quite a lot of money.
that's not bad at all to get in the top three - but with Couchtrippers clearly being about champions and utter success on a global scale, I think it's best to tell you to get some practice in and come back when you're number one! haha

They'll have their stats wiped soon (if it hasn't already happened), but I bet they'll be making a packet from selling hacks.
As for being number one on the Commander leaderboard, well, I would be, except there are two guys who have a FUCKING HUGE advantage over me... I'll explain:
1. They (KAIN and SKUNK_2142) own their own Battlefield 2142 servers, and I don't.
2. They started playing the game the day it was released. I started over six months later.
3. They use a script so that they can be away from the keyboard, and their soldier will get command automatically, every game on that server, 24 hours a day, every day, racking up more points.
Someone got so pissed off with KAIN cheating in this way, that they joined his team with a couple of friends, then laid prone shuffling along the floor in front of him to nudge him along very slightly. Using this method, they nudged him all the way to a position where he could be knifed by the other team ...then they switched teams and knifed him!
When you kill someone with a knife, you get their dog tags.
...However, the person who killed KAIN was so happy he went a step further and shared it on video! ([N)@(M] is his clan tag)
It's a surprisingly motivating thing to do, once you start collecting dog tags...
I have the tags of the number three (overall) ranked player (called XxFIGHT-CLUBxX).
It was SUCH a pleasure to knife him.
He was throwing grenades at my men, and I used active camouflage to sneak round behind him and slit his throat. He has yet to get my tags, so I win.
There are lots of fora for discussing BF2142, so if you do well in some way, there's a surprising amount of kudos to be had.
I've been offered 1000 dollars for my account by some insane American, but I turned it down, because it took six months to accumulate my stats, so while I can still afford to eat, I'm not selling my soldier!
I've had EA phone me on my fucking mobile telling me that I've been reported for hacking, investigated, and found NOT to be hacking!!!

Great! In the version I had seen the last few seconds were cut, so just now was the first time I'd ever heard the guy at the end say "the power supply's not bad, right?".
P.S. I just got awarded this badge. It's probably the hardest one I've got so far. You have to knife at least 17 people in a single round to get it.
Boy were the other team pissed off with me. I think I now have ALL their dog tagz.
